Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience to join our legal team in San Jose or Sacramento, California.

You will handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, develop case strategies, manage an assigned caseload, and collaborate with colleagues while drafting pleadings and conducting depositions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling personal injury, construction, and/or business litigation.
• Strong experience with discovery and depositions.
• Must be actively licensed to practice law in California.
• Must be located in California and able to work in or near San Jose or Sacramento.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage personal injury, construction, and business litigation matters.
• Conduct and respond to discovery.
• Prepare for and take depositions.
• Develop case strategies and independently manage assigned caseloads.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal staff to achieve favorable outcomes.
