Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking an experienced Casualty Claims Manager to lead a team of claims professionals handling complex casualty claims. This role focuses on operational excellence, high-quality claims handling, mentoring staff, and overseeing litigated and high-exposure claims.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical claims expertise with coaching abilities to improve processes and deliver exceptional customer outcomes within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years casualty claims with increasing responsibility.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of casualty claims, liability investigations, litigation management, coverage analysis, and settlements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of a casualty claims team.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to claims professionals.
• Monitor claim quality through file audits and performance analytics.
• Drive continuous improvement in claim handling efficiency and consistency.
• Oversee litigated claims and liaise with defense counsel on strategies.
