UPMC Kane is hiring a casual Professional Staff Nurse to support the Clinic-General Surgery. This role requires travel/coverage between Kane, Johnsonburg, Sheffield, and Mt. Jewett as needed.

Title and pay rate depend on years of experience. The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse responsible for providing and coordinating patient care throughout the continuum, with leadership and collaboration across the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

Responsabilités

• Applies the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment.
• Formulates daily goals and plan of care with patient partnership and holistic consideration.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to identify clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual issues.
• Communicates effectively with patients and other care providers; translates patient condition and recommends care changes.
• Documents comprehensively to promote team communication and coordinate patient care workflows.
• Supports quality improvement efforts and fosters professional development and teamwork.
