Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Candidates enrolled in nursing school preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year healthcare experience or CNA pathway may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care including assisting with procedures and activities of daily living.
• Assists with therapies and monitors patient status with RN supervision.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the RN and documents in the medical record.
• Performs nursing assistant duties such as vitals, glucose checks, I&O, and specimen collection.
• Maintains safety, communicates effectively with the health care team, and supports unit activities.
