Job summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Casual Nursing Assistant to join our Resource Pool. In this role you will support RNs by delivering direct patient care, assisting with ADLs, feeding, mobility, and safety checks, and helping maintain a clean, safe environment on the unit.

Shifts are days with rotation (7a-7p;7p-7a) as casual/variable hours, with weekend and holiday coverage discussed at hire. A 10% floating differential applies to eligible shifts, supporting flexible coverage across units.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in patient status to the RN.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting and ambulating as assigned.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of patient areas and equipment; supports unit operations.
