Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy.
• Physical Therapy license and current CPR certification.
• Competency in PT evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patients to collect medical history and develop rehab plans.
• Uses therapeutic procedures, exercises, and equipment to restore movement.
• Coordinates care across an interdisciplinary team and oversees staff.
• Re-evaluates patient status and updates the care plan as needed.
• Educates patients and families about expectations during recovery.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety; comply with regulations.
