Overview

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Part-time Forklift Operator at our Chicago, IL service center. The role involves moving all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Part Time - 30 Hours Weekly

Preferred Days are Sat, Sun, Shift start 4am, and Mon, Shift Start 5pm (open to any days).

Paid Sick Leave available after the first 30 calendar days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long using a forklift
• Read/interact with a computer display
• Operate on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock

• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
