Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a part-time Forklift Operator at our Wheeling, IL service center. You will move freight in and out of 53’ trailers and operate a forklift on a covered dock. The role is part-time with Fri/Mon preferred days and various shifts.

PTO is available after 90 calendar days, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including employee resort access.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience required; able to operate safely and efficiently.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move all freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
• Follow safety procedures while loading and unloading freight.

Forklift Operator, Starting at $25.94 hr.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part-time Forklift Operators at our Wheeling, IL service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Part-Time.

Fri/Mon- preferred days.

Various Shifts.

PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

Requirements
