Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking a kitchen associate to support food preparation in multiple outlets under the direction of the Sous Chef. The role emphasizes compliance with health codes and quality standards while delivering excellent guest service.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, with a culinary apprenticeship or A.O.S. degree preferred and some industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of foods in assigned kitchen outlets under the direction of the Sous Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with health department codes.
• Serve guests according to established standards of quality and portions.
• Ensure all food prep and service areas comply with local, state and federal health codes.
• Follow department standards and procedures and promote positive relations with guests and colleagues.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the incumbent assists with preparation of foods in assigned kitchen outlets.

Essential Job Functions

• Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.


• Assures that the working area is clean and sanitary in accordance with local and state health department codes.


• Serves all guests according to established standards of quality and in pre-determined portions.


• Assures that all food preparation and service areas are in accordance with the local, state and Federal health department codes.


• Follows department Standards and Procedures.


• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.


• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment within area of responsibility.


• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
