Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking a diligent dining room attendant to prepare dining spaces, clean areas and set tables to ensure a positive guest experience.

In this role you will follow health and sanitation guidelines, assist with setup, stock and closing duties, and help maintain a fast-paced casino dining environment. A high school diploma and 6 months in food service or customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience in high-volume food service or customer service.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining rooms for use and cleans appropriate areas.
• Sets tables for further use to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Completes setup, stocking and closing duties on time.
• Clears and resets tables; maintains sanitation standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
• Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time.
• Clears, cleans and resets tables according to procedures.
• Cleans area under and around tables and hutches.
• Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, congenial and efficient attitude.
• Promotes positive guest/employee relations.
• Other assignments as directed.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume food service or customer service preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment: May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
