The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is looking for a dependable Cook / Culinary Aide to join our culinary team and help prepare and serve meals for the Veterans and spouses who call our community home.

This is a hands-on role with variety. Depending on the shift and needs of the day, you may be preparing and cooking meals, assisting with food preparation, assembling meal trays, or helping keep the kitchen clean and ready for the next meal.

What Does a Cook / Culinary Aide Do Here?

Our culinary team is responsible for making sure our members receive meals that are safe, appealing, and prepared according to their individual needs and preferences.

When working as a Cook, you'll prepare meals using planned menus and recipes, coordinate food preparation and help make sure meals are ready for service on time.

When working as a Culinary Aide, you'll help with meal preparation and service, assemble trays, portion food and beverages, deliver and collect meals, wash dishes, stock supplies, and help keep the kitchen and dining areas organized.
