JAX Jackson General Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in exam rooms, collect vital signs, and prepare patients for visits. The role involves assisting with procedures and immunizations, organizing referrals, and educating patients on follow-up care.
Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with flexibility for varied shifts. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and CMA certification.
Performs basic nursing skills, and/or serves under the direction and supervision of the practice physician, advanced practice professional and/or registered nursing staff.
