Alkegen in Ohio is seeking a production worker for the casting department. You will schedule casters, set dies, and ensure first articles are run, while keeping accurate paperwork and safety protocols.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a noisy environment, and follow detailed instructions. Prior manufacturing experience and forklift certification are a plus; shift is Mon-Thurs 1:30pm–12am with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/vocational training preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Schedule casters on dies per Production Manager instructions.
• Run first articles and set timers for new dies.
• Ensure proper use of jigs, fitters, and screens.
• Inspect and sign off produced racks before drying.
• Maintain quality and safe work area; report issues.
• Maintain forklift certification and safety compliance.
• Participate in process improvements and safety reviews.
