Job summary

MetalTek International, located just outside St. Louis, MO, seeks a Foundry Tooling Engineer to design tooling and define processing operations for sand castings. You will translate CAD data and sales/QA inputs into cost-efficient, compliant process plans.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a foundry environment and experience with tooling design, CAD, and Lean/quality systems. A strong team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required, sand casting foundry experience preferred.
• Tooling design experience is preferred and CAD/solidification modeling is a plus.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and quality systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify production tooling and processing operations for castings.
• Develop process plans from CAD data and customer specs to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate on team projects to improve quality and value of products.
