Job summary

MetalTek International, located just outside St. Louis, MO, Carondelet, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure plantwide compliance with contract specifications and to establish compliant procedures and quality plans.

Responsibilities include interpreting customer requirements, addressing non-conformances, and developing process and quality control methods. The role also involves standardizing databases and leading improvement projects across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of quality systems experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, foundry a plus.
• Experience with non-destructive evaluation (NDE) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, interpret, and clarify customer specifications and maintain compliance.
• Respond to non-conformances and determine corrective actions with customers and team.
• Develop process control and quality control methods for manufacturing operations.
• Standardize databases and software for product and quality control.
• Lead improvement projects as assigned.
