Job summary

Constellium's Ravenswood, WV facility seeks a Metal Control Supervisor to bridge casting operations and sales orders. You will coordinate the Cast House production plan based on booked orders and assign production slots in the casting schedule, while managing metal flow from raw materials to ingots.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in related industrial environment (preferred).
• Ability to initiate processes and ideas.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement, preferred.
• Possession of computer skills: Excel, Word, e-mail.
• Capable of calculating material balances.
• Basic chemical knowledge of alloys to understand compatibility and transitions.

Responsibilities

• Define, adjust, calculate and analyze metal charges.
• Ensure compliance to Constellium policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provide leadership in Continuous Improvement in their assigned area.
• Control and document raw materials and cast ingot inventories.
• Provide the conflict resolution necessary to ensure problems are resolved and corrective action is implemented.
• Assist Supply Chain by providing accurate information about casting production and capacity available.
• Report daily production and raw materials, additives, and scrap usage.
• Coach, mentor, and train the hourly workforce.
