Job summary

Constellium Ravenswood, WV plant is seeking an experienced leader to drive Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives in a heavy manufacturing setting. You will oversee safety, quality, and productivity, mentor teams, and ensure shifts are staffed with qualified operators and proper equipment.

Proficiency with SAP and Excel, plus strong union-management leadership, is essential. The role requires multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, initiating process improvements, delivering toolbox

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in related industrial environment (preferred).
• Strong management skills in a Union environment (preferred).
• Ability to initiate processes and ideas.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (required).
• Experience with continuous improvement and Lean principles.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives in assigned area.
• Monitor machine centers and material flow, understand inventory tracking and control.
• Provide leadership with executing Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives in assigned area.
• Ensure each shift is staffed correctly and employees are assigned to appropriate equipment.
• Deliver and track daily Toolbox Talks and monthly safety meetings.
• Ensure all quality standards are met by monitoring materials and finished products for flaws and defects.
