Job summary

Constellium's Ravenswood, WV facility seeks a Metal Control Supervisor to bridge casting operations and sales orders. • Basic chemical knowledge of alloys to understand compatibility and transitions.

• Ensure compliance to Constellium policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Provide leadership in Continuous Improvement in their assigned area.
• Control and document raw materials and cast ingot inventories.
• Provide the conflict resolution necessary to ensure problems are resolved and corrective action is implemented.
• Assist Supply Chain by providing accurate information about casting production and capacity available.
• Report daily production and raw materials, additives, and scrap usage.
• Coach, mentor, and train the hourly workforce.

This position is responsible for assigning a production slot in the casting schedule for all products to be fabricated in the mill. In addition to scheduling production, this position manages the metal flow in the Cast House that includes raw materials, additives, and cast ingots. The Metal Control Supervisor communicates the daily production plan by supplying the material expeditors, assigned to production shifts, with an accurate casting schedule.
