Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in the United States seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support equipment and tooling validation within a casting manufacturing environment. This onsite role is based in Bay City, MI, with occasional supplier-site support.

You will qualify machinery, support tooling changeovers, perform buy-offs, analyze downtime and performance data, and work closely with plant and supplier teams to keep milestones on track.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with equipment validation and machinery qualification.

Responsibilities

• Verify equipment and tooling throughout validation stages.
• Qualify machinery and support tooling changeovers.
• Perform equipment buy-offs and meet project milestones.
• Provide onsite support at supplier locations as needed.
• Analyze downtime and performance data.
• Implement corrective actions based on downtime insights.
• Collaborate with plant and supplier teams to resolve issues.
