Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a dependable Casting Machine Operator to join our production team. You will own specialized casting machinery, monitor production runs, and help ensure peak quality and operational performance.

The role requires a solid mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different assets and overtime. You will work C Shift (11pm–7am) and collaborate with maintenance and quality to uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Solid mechanical aptitude and curiosity to learn production assets.
Excellent attention to detail to monitor close tolerances.
Flexible to cross-train on assets and overtime.
Comfort reading dashboards and basic computer applications.
Preferred: experience in fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

Set Up & Calibrate: Lead machine setups, changeovers, and program production sequences for optimal efficiency.
Monitor Quality: Load raw materials, unload finished products, and perform routine testing using precision measuring devices to guarantee high-quality work.
Troubleshoot Processes: Monitor gauges, meters, and temperatures; identify malfunctions and collaborate with maintenance to find root‑cause solutions.
Ensure Safety & Adherence: Strictly follow SOPs and safety policies to maintain a clean, secure manufacturing environment.
Collaborate Broadly: Maintain meticulous production logs and support teammates in meeting site goals.
