Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a dependable Casting Machine Operator to join our production team. You will own specialized casting machinery, monitor production runs, and help ensure peak quality and operational performance.

The role requires a solid mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different assets and overtime. You will work C Shift (11pm–7am) and collaborate with maintenance and quality to uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and curiosity to learn production assets.
• Excellent attention to detail to monitor close tolerances.
• Flexible to cross-train on assets and overtime.
• Comfort reading dashboards and basic computer applications.
• Preferred: experience in fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Set Up & Calibrate: Lead machine setups, changeovers, and program production sequences for optimal efficiency.
• Monitor Quality: Load raw materials, unload finished products, and perform routine testing using precision measuring devices to guarantee high-quality work.
• Troubleshoot Processes: Monitor gauges, meters, and temperatures; identify malfunctions and collaborate with maintenance to find root‑cause solutions.
• Ensure Safety & Adherence: Strictly follow SOPs and safety policies to maintain a clean, secure manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate Broadly: Maintain meticulous production logs and support teammates in meeting site goals.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day)

Qualifications
