Job summary

KOBELCO ALUMINUM AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS LLC is seeking a Casting Foreman to lead the night shift in the Casting department, ensuring safe operations, adherence to quality standards, and on-time production targets. You will supervise machining associates, enforce PPE, manage changeovers, and drive 5S initiatives while coordinating with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED
• 3+ years leadership experience in automotive environment
• Experience with CNC machinery or similar environment
• Crane and forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment operates within specified parameters
• Manage Machining associates
• Ensure all team members have proper PPE in good condition
• Communicate schedule requirements and production targets
• Prioritize tasks per Supervisor
• Observe machining changeovers for accuracy
• Promote safe work procedures per KAAP rules
• Ensure quality checks are performed on time
• Enter data in QAD
• Inventory control
• Promote 5S activities in Machining
• Monitor cycle times
• Communicate issues to Supervisor
• Perform other duties as required
