Job summary

Kobeal is seeking a Casting Foreman for the night shift to supervise the Casting department, monitor production, enforce safety, and manage daily changeovers and equipment availability. You will guide a machining team, ensure PPE compliance, and report production status to supervision.

The role requires leadership in an automotive environment, CNC machinery experience, crane and forklift familiarity, and strong problem-solving abilities to maintain quality and safety standards on the floor.

Qualifications

3+ years leadership experience in automotive environment.
Experience with CNC machinery or similar environment.
Crane and forklift experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters.
Manage Machining associates.
Ensure all team members have proper PPE in good condition.
Communicate schedule requirements and production targets.
Prioritize jobs/tasks based on requirements from Supervisor.
Observe Machining changeover tasks for accuracy and correctness.
Promote safe work procedures in accordance with KAAP safety rules and regulations.
Ensure quality checks are being performed on time and correctly.
Enter data in QAD.
Inventory control.
Promote and implement assigned 5S activities throughout the Machining department.
Monitor cycle times.
Communicate any issues to Supervisor.
Performs other duties as required.
