Job summary

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Remove excess materials from castings using a small portable grinder, files, belt grinder, etc. Position castings on bench or table. Determine materials to be removed. Apply small portable grinder, file, etc., to remove specified materials. Work generally standard or routine castings repaired by welding.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Prior experience removing excess materials with grinder, but willing to train.
2. Strong prioritizing and planning skills and ability to work with little supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school education or equivalent experience.
2. Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.

Casting Finisher

• 1st & 3rd Shift (1 opening each shift)
• Starting Wage: $19.72/hr
• Shift premium for 3rd shift: $0.50/hr
• 1st shift hours: 5:00am-1:00pm Monday-Friday
• 3rd shift hours: 9:00pm-5:00am Sunday night-Friday morning
