Informs patients / families, staff and students about the use and care of casts, traction and Ilizarov devices; monitors and orders casting and traction supplies and equipment. **Key Responsibilities:*** Performs direct and indirect patient care activities within the scope of practice of an Orthopedic Technician* Performs casting, traction and Ilizarov services under the direction and supervision of an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon* Demonstrates open, accurate and timely communication with patients/families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic intervention.
