Job summary

TCDC in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Cast Operator for entry level and skilled openings. This employee-owned company operates three locations and offers ESOP ownership and competitive wages. Work shifts include 1st Shift 6am-4:30pm or 2nd Shift 4:30pm-3am.

As a Cast Operator you will set up and operate metal casting machines, inspect parts, record production, and follow safety rules. HS Diploma or Equivalent required; 18.25-22.00/hr; benefits include 401(k) match, holidays, health options.

Responsibilities

• Observe continuous operation of manual and/or automatic machines to ensure products meet specifications and detect malfunctions, making adjustments as instructed.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects using precision measuring instruments.
• Set up, operate, or tend metal casting machines to cast metal parts or products.
• Position and secure work pieces on machines.
• Remove finished products from dies using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment.
• Trim excess material from parts.
• Install dies onto machines or presses, then coat dies with parting agents according to work order specifications.
• Accurately record production transactions and work time.
• Follow all environmental, health and safety rules and procedures for the work area.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Job Title: Cast Operator (Entry Level and Skilled openings)
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
• Reports to: CNC Department Manager
• Schedule: 1 st Shift (6am-4:30pm M-Th) or 2 nd Shift (4:30pm-3am M-Th)
• Location: Minneapolis, MN
• Wage Scale: $18.25-$22.00/hr DOQ

RESPONSIBILITIES:
