Job summary

TCDC Inc Minneapolis is hiring for a Cast Operator (Entry Level and Skilled openings) in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports the CNC Department Manager and offers two shift options: 1st shift 6am-4:30pm or 2nd shift 4:30pm-3am. Wage range is $17.00-$23.50/hr DOQ, with potential for growth in a long-established employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or metal casting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe continuous operation of manual and/or automatic machines to ensure products meet specifications and detect malfunctions.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects using precision measuring instruments.
• Set up, operate, or tend metal casting machines to cast metal parts or products.
• Position and secure work pieces on machines.
• Remove finished products from dies using hand tools and other equipment.
• Trim excess material from parts and coat dies with parting agents as per work order specifications.
• Record production transactions and work time accurately.
• Follow all environmental, health and safety rules to ensure a safe work area.
