Job summary

The Surveillance Supervisor at Maverick-Nv-LL oversees staff in the casino’s Surveillance department to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, gaming regulations, and internal policies. You will provide direction, training, and performance development to protect assets and maintain operational integrity.

Responsibilities include staffing, supervising operators and observers, investigating incidents, collecting evidence, and enforcing safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain gaming registration.
• Must be 21+ years old; prior casino surveillance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee protection of assets in Surveillance per Nevada Gaming Regulations and MICS.
• Ensure Surveillance department operates in compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ensure proper staffing levels.
• Oversee supervision, development, discipline and training of Surveillance team members.
• Supervise compliance with security and surveillance protocols; investigate incidents and gather evidence.
• Directly supervise Surveillance Operator(s) within the department; train, coach and develop performance plans.
• Communicate and maintain performance standards for customer interactions and manage team to reduce complaints.
• Ensure team maintains a clean, safe work environment and follows safety procedures.
• Oversee security and safety of casino work environment in regulatory compliance.
• Ensure team follows security policies and reports violations; comply with Nevada Gaming requirements.
• Maintain a flexible schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Directly supervise observers within Surveillance; training and performance development.
