Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Surveillance Operator II to monitor casino activities using CCTV and VMS, ensuring a fair, safe, and secure gaming environment. You will generate incident reports and support multiple departments to uphold policies and regulations.

Key duties include leveraging facial recognition and access control, evaluating player behavior for security, and coordinating with Gaming Authority when required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience in Gaming and/or Surveillance preferred.
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV and VMS to monitor casino activities and archive evidence.
• Proactively monitor casino areas to deter fraud and enforce policies.
• Complete incident reports for guest complaints, losses, or procedural errors.
• Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations and company policies through training.
• Operate facial recognition, license plate recognition, and access control systems.
• Evaluate players for security risks using game evaluation software.
• Collaborate with law enforcement as necessary and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with partner departments to maximize guest experience.
