Job summary

Isleta Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a friendly Server to provide World Class Guest Service in our food and beverage venues. You will greet guests, take orders, relay to kitchen or bar, and deliver meals with accuracy and warmth.

You must be 21+, have a high school diploma or GED, and experience in high-volume hospitality. Training in POS systems, cash handling, and OSHA/Alcohol awareness is required, with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; preferred.
• Six months server experience in a high-volume casino or hospitality setting.
• Six months cash handling experience required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA; Alcohol awareness programs.
• Must obtain NM Alcohol Server Certification and POIGRA Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and inform them of menu and beverage selections.
• Obtain and relay food and beverage orders to kitchen and/or bar.
• Periodically check tables to address guest needs.
• Upsell with meal suggestions and dessert recommendations.
• Know menu items, ingredients, and pricing for accurate ordering.
• Enter orders into POS terminals accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized server stations.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations while serving guests.
• Train staff in server procedures.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere and strong guest relations.
