Job summary

Prairie Band Casino & Resort is seeking a Security Supervisor to enforce security regulations and maintain a safe environment for guests and Team Members. You will assist the Security Manager with staffing, training, and compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations.

The role requires 2+ years in security or supervision, strong English skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The employer offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 2 years supervisory experience and/or 2 years security/law enforcement experience.
• General knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Basic mathematic proficiency.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, bi-lingual a plus.
• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Must adhere to the professional appearance standard as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook.
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines set forth in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook.
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager with the staffing and training of Security Officers.
• Responsible for security policies and procedures as it applies to the approved System of Internal Controls and Tribal State Gaming Compact Regulations and Emergency Operating Procedures.
• Ensures adequate coverage and ensures Team Members are relieved of their duties in a timely manner per established schedule.
• Completes required documentation, coaching and performance evaluations in a timely manner for all personnel under their supervision.
• Performs Security Officer functions as needed.
• Reviews all Accident Reports, Medical Reports and Security Incident Reports.
• Transports Gaming Chips, Coin, and Cash.
• Reports any improper or illegal or suspected improper or illegal acts directly to the Security Manager.
• Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly working environment.
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same.
• Additional duties as assigned
