Job summary

Golden Nugget is seeking a Security Shift Manager to oversee daily safety, security, and asset protection during shifts. You will manage security personnel, enforce gaming regulations, handle emergencies, and conduct investigations to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.

The role requires supervising security staff, planning duties, and ensuring proper staffing, with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two to three years of casino security and/or law enforcement/military supervisory experience.
• Excellent guest and employee relations skills.
• Ability to investigate incidents and write reports.
• Working knowledge of hotel/casino security operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission Regulations, federal and state laws, and property policies.
• Deliver professional guest service to guests, visitors, vendors and employees.
• Promote responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Schedule, train and supervise security staff and ensure posts are staffed.
• Oversee security activities and incidents during shift.
• Ensure physical security of hotel/casino complex and on-site parking.
• Respond to significant incidents and manage investigations.
• Complete reports, logs, and paperwork thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain personnel records and disciplinary actions for security staff.
