Job summary

Station Casinos is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security activities, assign tasks, and train officers on duty. You will respond to incidents in a supervisory capacity and ensure accurate reporting and investigations, while upholding department policies and promoting a positive team environment.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and proficiency with standard office software; firearm handling may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in casino security or law enforcement preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan and schedule security activities for the shift.
• Assign work to Security Officers and set priorities.
• Train and evaluate Officers for alertness, appearance and performance.
• Respond to non-routine incidents in a supervisory capacity with proper action and notifications.
• Ensure thorough investigation and appropriate action on incidents.
• Develop and evaluate department policies and objectives.
• Foster teamwork and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
