Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice plus 3 months of department-specific experience; or Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice plus 6 months or more of department-specific work experience; or One (1) year of department-specific experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• CLEET Security Officer certification or equivalent is required (within 6 months of hire) or certification of completion from a full-time or reserve police academy. Armed Security Certification, CPR/AED/First Aid Certified is preferred.
• Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
• Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times.
• Cooperates and communicates with all fellow employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude.
• Gives directions and provides escort to customers in need.
• Operates company vehicles as directed and patrols all sections of property.
• Makes chip fills, jackpot verifications.
• Regularly provides escorts of money and persons in money-handling positions.
• Handles administrative duties assigned by manager.
• Responsible for securing assets by radio communication; records all calls and movements in casino; logs all calls for security.
• Responsible for completion of mandatory logs; ensures that all information is recorded and transmitted to appropriate OMDEC personnel and in compliance with outside regulatory agencies.
• Ensures time records are accurate for hourly employees and updates attendance records.
• Ensures assigned staff, are relieved from duty in order to take authorized break or meal periods and covers for department as necessary due to employee shortages.
• Monitors all relevant activities of the area of responsibility, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the organization, and the National Indian Gaming Commission and the Osage Nation Gaming Commission are understood and enforced by all applicable personnel.
• Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and regulatory commissions to ensure compliance.
• Performs all duties in accordance with company core values and gaming regulations.
• May assist assigned staff with accurate preparation of detailed daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports as required by the reporting senior.
• Leadership: ensures orientation for new staff; evaluates performance; provides training; and schedules staff to maintain guest services.
