Job summary

Osage Casino Ponca City is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead shift operations, supervise staff, and ensure safe, compliant operations across guest services, casino security, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate patrols, drive asset protection, and manage logs and communications in accordance with gaming regulations.

Ideal candidates have a background in security or law enforcement, a relevant degree or experience, and a CLEET or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice plus 3 months of department-specific experience; or Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice plus 6 months or more of department-specific work experience; or One year of department-specific experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Gaming, Hospitality or Customer Service industry preferred.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military or civilian security services is helpful.
• CLEET Security Officer certification or equivalent is required (within 6 months of hire) or certification of completion from a full-time or reserve police academy.
• Armed Security Certification, CPR/AED/First Aid Certified is preferred.
• Working knowledge of data entry and basic computer programs is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times.
• Cooperates and communicates with all fellow employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/ attitude.
• Gives directions and provides escort to customers in need.
• Operates company vehicles as directed and patrols all sections of property.
• Makes chip fills, jackpot verifications.
• Regularly provides escorts of money and persons in money-handling positions.
• Handles administrative duties assigned by manager.
• Responsible for securing assets by radio communication; records all calls and movements in casino; logs all calls for security.
• Responsible for completion of mandatory logs; ensures that all information is recorded and transmitted to appropriate OMDEC personnel and in compliance with outside regulatory agencies.
• Ensures time records are accurate for hourly employees and updates attendance records.
• Ensures assigned staff, are relieved from duty in order to take authorized break or meal periods and covers for department as necessary due to employee shortages.
• Monitors all relevant activities to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations and controls including NIGC and ONGC.
