Job summary

Bally's The Queen Casino Baton Rouge seeks a dedicated Security Officer to patrol, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and protect guests and casino assets in a busy gambling environment.

You'll need 21+, 6 months security experience, English communication, and the ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays. A State Gaming License and driver's license are required or pursued as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months of security experience, required.
• Knowledge of Casino Security operations preferred.
• Able to communicate in English clearly via verbal and written.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Must obtain and maintain a State Gaming License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Remain alert for burglaries, prowlers, vandalism, trespassers and suspicious activity.
• Assist in transporting money and chips.
• Observe, report and act as directed by supervisor on suspicious situations.
• Respond to emergencies including fires, medical incidents and criminal activity.
• Answer calls promptly and professionally.
• Deescalate disturbances to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Exercise sound judgment when interacting with team members and guests.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Uphold Service PACK standards and ethical policies.
• Investigate and write incident/medical reports promptly.
• Document all incidents and property damage as directed.
• Support fellow team members and assist other security officers.
• Assist valet staff in traffic control or parking when needed.
