Job summary

Grand Casino Hinckley seeks a Security Specialist to perform security, first aid, and emergency medical duties protecting Guests, Associates, and the facility. You will provide outstanding guest service and enforce age verification to comply with gaming regulations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and EMT/EMR certification with state registry exam; on-site role with training in fire/safety protocols and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of Grand Casino facilities and events to advise Guests and Associates.
Provide information for reports on security/medical incidents.
Ensure safe transportation of company assets.
Request identification from all persons under 21 to ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
Attend to the medical needs of Guests and Associates.
Communicate with departments in emergencies requiring immediate attention.
Maintain inventory of oxygen, first aid supplies, and related items.
Know fire protection systems and response protocols; follow OSHA rules and inspections.
