Tioga Downs Casino Resort is seeking a detail-oriented Security Supervisor to coordinate and supervise Security Associates on assigned shifts, ensuring life and property protection across the property.

The role requires NYS Security Guard eligibility and prior supervisory security experience. Competitive benefits include health plans, 401K, vacation, and more for a full-time position in Nichols, NY.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in security/surveillance.
• New York State licensed Security Guard.
• Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related area preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Effective public speaking and group instruction abilities.

Responsabilités

• Monitors all areas of the property, identifying security risks and reporting them.
• Ensures quality of operations in the Security Department on shift.
• Maintains knowledge of Gaming Commission rules and adheres to them.
• Protects assets and gaming integrity by monitoring activities on property.
• Directs Security Reports to appropriate company personnel with confidentiality.
• Advises Security Associates on duties and ensures timely completion.
• Maintains staffing, interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates associates.
• Reviews Daily Activity Reports and prepares Shift Reports for the Director.
