Job summary

Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, team members, and property while delivering exceptional guest service. The role includes patrolling, responding to emergencies, and maintaining confidentiality and policy compliance.

The position requires strong observation, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to work night shifts on a 24-hour schedule in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• Preference given to candidates with Security/Law Enforcement/Military/Hospitality experience.
• Proficient with basic software: Word and Excel; able to use security-related software.
• Good observation skills and strong writing/spelling abilities.
• Prior guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-concentration environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of guests and team members on Seneca Gaming Corporation property.
• Maintain knowledge of Security Ambassador and related duties.
• Respond to emergencies and conflicts with professional communication.
• Display outstanding verbal communication to resolve issues and diffuse situations.
• Conduct continual patrols and monitor all casino areas as directed.
