Job summary

Bally's Tiverton Casino Resort in Tiverton, RI is seeking an entry-level Revenue Accounting Assistant to support daily revenue audit activities. You will enter data into audit forms, prepare journal entries, and track coupons and receipts, while reconciling accounts and monitoring compliance with relevant laws.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong numerical and Excel skills, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college courses in accounting preferred.
• Must possess effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills; experience with audits preferred; numbers oriented and proficient with spreadsheets; Excel highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily information into revenue audit report forms and run back-up reports.
• Prepare journal entries, track coupons used on property, sort and record complimentary receipts.
• Reconcile accounts regularly.
• Monitor revenue accounting activities to ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and licenses.
• Evaluate situations in revenue audits and determine best handling.
• Maintain high level of service in revenue accounting area.
• Attend departmental meetings and ensure accuracy of records and reports.
