Job summary

North Star Mohican Casino Resort seeks a Revenue Auditor for the Gaming Division, with a hourly pay of $17.25 and reporting to the Finance Manager. The role requires compliance with gaming ordinances and the ability to review and verify casino financial documents daily.

Responsibilities include reviewing department documents, preparing general ledger entries, data entry for management reports, and identifying variances for investigations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of accounting experience required.
• Audit experience preferred.
• Must obtain Mohican Nation Gaming License.
• Background check required.
• Pre-employment drug and health screening.
• Must work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass basic math and accounting exams.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Daily, review documents prepared by casino departments to verify transactions and reconcile accounts, verify cash on hand and bank deposits.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare general ledger entries.
• Responsible for data entry on statistical reports used by management.
• Identify variations and deviations; aid in investigations and report findings to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a tracking system for outstanding slips, coupons, etc. for accountability.
• Assist the finance department with revenue analysis.
• Adhere to confidentiality requirements of the Finance Division.
• Follow all rules, regulations, procedures and policies of North Star Mohican Casino Resort and Finance Department.
• Comply with the Casino’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
