Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, MD is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, guide a diverse team, and uphold service and culinary standards at a premier Live! venue.

You will partner with culinary and front-of-house teams, manage budgets and scheduling, ensure compliance with gaming and health regulations, and drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth through strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred.
• 5-7 years experience in restaurant management and supervision.
• Must be certified in alcohol awareness.
• Willingness to be flexible with work schedule; extended hours may be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary and front-of-house to ensure guest service and food quality.
• Maintain open communication and foster a team spirit.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and maintenance; uphold sanitation standards.
• Supervise guest service training for all Team Members.
• Manage cost control of labor, food, and beverages; review budgets and P&L.
• Evaluate guest trends and issues, and respond accordingly.
• Coordinate marketing strategies to drive visitation and VIP events.
• Maintain outlet appearance and ensure regulatory compliance for food, alcohol, and gaming.
