Job summary

Edgewater Gaming, LLC is seeking an EVS Porter to support the Environmental Services department by maintaining cleanliness of guest and team member areas, contributing to guest service, sanitation, and a safe, welcoming environment. You will perform routine cleaning of public areas, restrooms, floors, and stock supplies, while adhering to gaming regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of janitorial or porter experience in a casino or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including slot machines, chairs, slot stands, fixtures, signs, mirrors, and light fixtures (up to 9 feet).
• Clean public restrooms, including wiping surfaces, sanitizing toilets/urinals, emptying trash containers, and restocking paper products.
• Remove debris from floors and walkways, vacuum carpets, and mop, sweep, and scrub floors as needed.
• Stock cleaning supplies and empty/clean trash containers regularly.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
