Casino Operations Assistant Shift Manager

Responsibilities include:

1. Supervising staff and managing daily operations in the Table Games department, including the poker room if applicable.
2. Supporting scheduling and guest satisfaction concerns.
3. Assisting in departmental budget processes and ensuring compliance with budget initiatives.
4. Promoting and maintaining high customer service standards.
5. Implementing strategies for customer service, revenue growth, and expense management.
6. Managing team member engagement, feedback, and grievances.
7. Overseeing gaming equipment accountability and inventory verification.
8. Maintaining paperwork, logs, and communication related to the department.
9. Inspecting gaming equipment for security and integrity.
10. Ensuring regulatory compliance and confidentiality.
11. Managing complimentary privileges within company policies.
12. Potentially serving as acting Shift Manager in their absence.

Minimum qualifications:

• Associates Degree or four years of supervisory experience in Table Games, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Table Games systems.
• Ability to interact diplomatically with guests and staff, resolve conflicts, and write reports.
• Knowledge of all Table Games and operations.
• Flexible availability, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret data and graphs.
