Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors).
• Effective communication with Guests, Team Members, and Management in person, by phone, or radio.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s culture and service standards at all times.
• Provide care of various surfaces and areas throughout the property by utilizing heavy duty equipment such as stripping, waxing, conditioning, honing, and high speed burnishing.
• Operate equipment including a high lift, street sweeper, and blowers with proper procedures.
• Ensure equipment is used and maintained safely and correctly.
• Clean assigned zones with a safety-minded approach and courteous demeanor toward Guests and Team Members.
• Maintain Hazard Communication Standards for the area.
• Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals and use PPE when handling chemicals.
