Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Casino Porter to perform cleaning and housekeeping across the entertainment room, dining areas, and offices. Under supervision, you will inspect public and private spaces and report conditions to supervisors, ensuring a clean and hazard-free environment.

You will clean casino areas, handle chemicals safely, and support a fast-paced gaming resort. The role requires 21+ years of age, training in bio-hazard cleanup, and dependable, team-oriented performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• One month related experience or training.
• Must be able to be certified in blood borne pathogens/bio-hazardous material clean-up (training provided).
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean casino areas including slot machines, table games equipment, and other assigned areas.
• Vacuum carpets and damp mop/sweep floors.
• Dust furniture, wash walls and fixtures, clean restrooms.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow formulas.
• Replenish restroom supplies and manage trash/recycling.
• Maintain safe, hazard-free work environment and cooperate with team members.
