Job summary

Pechanga Resort & Casino is seeking a Maintenance Kitchen Engineer responsible for maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment on an assigned shift throughout the resort, ensuring standards are met.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 5 years of construction and appliance repair experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with all trades within the Facilities Division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5 years experience in construction and appliance repair.
• Good organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Must be qualified to work with gas and steam.
• Must be able to work with all trades within the Facilities Division.

Responsibilities

• Completes timely repairs on all kitchen equipment.
• Keeps machinery operating safely and in compliance with health codes.
• Performs electrical troubleshooting on mechanical equipment as required.
• Repairs or replaces electrical motor failures.
• Relocates existing equipment when requested.
• Maintains supply of materials for assigned jobs.
• Protects the assets of the resort and maintains confidentiality.
• Meets with Maintenance Engineer/Kitchen Supervisor regularly.
• Has working knowledge of plumbing standards and codes for casino kitchen systems.
