Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a skilled line cook to properly prepare all foods listed on the menus in the assigned kitchen outlet. You will grill, fry, bake, braise, poach and pan-sear with a focus on presentation and quality.

You will maintain a clean workstation, slice and portion accurately, and work with teammates to ensure timely service during busy shifts. Flexibility for holidays and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or Associate’s Degree preferred with some industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods per menus; ensure plates meet chef specifications.
• Keep workstation neat and clean; assist teammates for efficiency.
• Assist with special events or parties when needed.
• Ensure proper food storage and safety practices.
• Attend meetings and participate in shift changes.
