Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a Cook to join the Southland Casino Hotel team in West Memphis, Arkansas. This full-time or part-time role focuses on food preparation, assisting in training team members, operating kitchen equipment, and upholding health codes and sanitation standards.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, handle standard portions, maintain clean workstations, and support end-of-day inventory.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills to follow recipes and measure ingredients.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to meet portion sizes and quality standards.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean and stocked.
• Record waste and follow waste-control guidelines.
• Perform opening, closing, and end-of-day inventory tasks.
