Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking an experienced Chef to lead kitchen staff and produce high-quality menu items. You will oversee production during operating hours, develop daily specials, and maintain strong guest satisfaction through culinary excellence.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in a high-volume setting; culinary degree is preferred, and RI food codes/HACCP knowledge is essential. Expect responsibilities across hiring, ordering, and supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Culinary degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff, both kitchen and dishroom, and create daily specials menu.
• Calculate inventory requirements.
• Oversee cleanliness of kitchen, refrigeration, dishroom and all kitchen support areas.
• Communicate with front of house staff.
• Order all food and supplies, and manage costs.
• Hire, fire and supervise necessary personnel.
• Ensure compliance with RI food codes and HACCP laws.
• Ensure items leaving kitchen are charged for or reported to the Kitchen Manager.
• Supervise kitchen and support staff during all hours of operation.
